Escape Room Stories

Despite a questionable rendering of me from Nano Banana (and this was the IMPROVED version!) I was quite happy to see what came with the picture.
Brandon Dove reached out to me way back in August with an interesting message on LinkedIn.
“Hey Brian, first off, this isn't a sales pitch. I'm building a website where I post escape rooms and share escape room stories. Would you be interested in sharing your story?”
First, Brandon is based in California, so I was a bit stunned that news of my little two person company had reached across the ocean. Second, I never walk away from the opportunity to tell a story, so I happy agreed.
We connected for a podcast recording back in September, and I got to share the “origin story” of Teamwork Unlocked, my philosophies on the business, and how we differentiate ourselves from commercial escape rooms.
Brandon had a flood of content in the pipeline, but my podcast with him and the accompanying blog went up last week. Brandon has a gift for writing, the blog captures everything I wanted to say, and he eloquently and carefully put my words to his page. He called it “The Art of the Debrief.”
He even was kind enough to give Nano Banana another crack at the photo - the original made me look decades older than I am. I guess Nano Banana sees “bald” and thinks “old.” That’s why I never post the goofy AI generated photos of myself as an action figure or a Ghibli creation or the latest fad of “me in caricature.”
I’d love you to give the blog a read or the podcast a listen! Pretty interesting stuff, if I do say so myself. Which I do. At Teamwork Unlocked, we helped teams build trust among themselves through our innovative and immersive workshops.
